Maine has a rich maritime history. Bath, Maine boasts one of the finest maritime museums in the county. There are tug boats (everyone loves tug boats!), sail boats big and small (Clippers, Schooners, Sloops and day sailers), commercial tankers, commercial fishing boats (sardine carriers and the like), lobster boats, life boats, cruise ships and more.
